Just curious, anybody have any experience or proof of an adwords google slap effecting a sites natural ranking?

I've got some aged domains and sites that I've been considering using for hosting PPC landers. Just don't want to risk losing the sites natural traffic if shit hits the fan.

it won't effect it

I wouldn't use them though, cause onces it gets slapped if you ever need to do ppcG on that domain again you will be screwed

Change domains and you'll be fine for another month or so. But yes, G is been notoriously slapping campaigns. When asked what i can do to improve my page, they said don't use bridge pages and put some content. But doesn't guarantee anything. Anyway, so i went ahead a create a 15 page content site, got it indexed, added sitemap and everything, and put a call to action to the offer on my index....guess what got slapped again in a week. It's annoying but you're at their mercy as they have majority traffic.

The slapped page itself will disappear from the SERPs, but the rest of the domain won't be affected.
That's what I have experienced so far.

The LP did have links before and was ranking 2nd for one of my main keywords. Needless to say this sucked hard!
