Gas Prices wtf



Due to the Dollar or Obama or ????

I'm coming off a car that got 30 mpg using the cheapest unleaded gasoline and now driving a car that requires premium 93 octane and gets 18mpg on a good day. Wish these prices would come down.
 
Gas prices have a direct impact on the economy and the disposable income of my target market.

That is why I care and so should all marketers.

That's a big difference for some people in certain climates that have to fill 300 gallon tanks at home. Also, 18 wheelers get like 6 miles a gallon, so you can imagine that UPS, Walmart and thousands of other companies pay close attention.

Exactly and they push those extra expenses to us, the customers.

I get your point, but you can always move, right? Why do you guys have to live in the middle of nowhere anyway...

In my case, if I want to go anywhere I'll always pay huge amounts of money for my fuel. That's why in Europe most of us use diesel (cheaper fuel and more economical engines), not that we wouldn't like to go shopping in a 8000cc gasoline powered 4x4, but we just can't afford it.

Our welfare is like a bottomless sack of shit. I keep filling it with my money and all I'll get in the future is proly a pile of crap. So you are pretty much right.
