If you guys want an "official" legal version of Windows7, tomorrow is the day. There are only going to be 2.5 million keys released, so get one while you can. The download on the other hand has already been leaked, so grab one of the torrents to save some time (just make sure you get a key tomorrow to register).

windows 7 is pretty amazing, I'll admit. this is what I was waiting for - I'll be backing up and installing tomorrow.

The windows site wont even load for me right now. lol It must be getting killed.

I tried 7 via other routes anyway I still found it to be a ugly piece of crap compared to os x. Sure it runs a heck of a lot better in benchmarks vs vista and xp, and it seems to have fixed a lot of vista's quirks. But ill stick with my mac.

The Windows 7 Beta will expire on August 1. You will probably be forced to go back to using Vista SP1 on August 1 (or maybe upgrade to Win7 Beta 2?).

I'm running the 64 bit beta now and it's nice. If you don't have it yet just get it via torrent. It took me 2 hours... the only thing I'm waiting for is the key (you can use it without the key for 30 days).
