Getting started with premium SMS

Hi guys,

Can any one recommend a provider that can be used for premium SMS billing? (charging users through their cell phone bill)

Depends on what you want to bill for.

If its like IQ or something, most use MobileMessenger.
There are also companies like mblox though.

Keep in mind, mobile billing is quite different. They have set tariffs, carriers take upwards of 50% and take 3 months to remit funds.

Ideally, it would work like this:

User visits website.
User enters phone number into website.
"Activation code" is sent via SMS to user's cell phone.
User enters activation code into followup form on website.
User's subscription is now active.
