Just saw a thread about the SyFy channel and turned it on the TV to confirm the name change. Ghost Hunters is on and it seems completely fake what do you guys think?
I'm thinking I wouldn't mind banging that swedish chick. I just turned the TV on about 20 minutes ago and it happened to be on scifi, can't even remember what I watched last on this tv.
OMG, there's these weird electrical pulses we're picking up next to the wall between these two electrical outlets. Then we took some shitty pictures in a dusty room and saw halos. Must be ghosts.
What's amazing is that in every single show there is never a ghost, and yet people are still watching it. And how many shows have the done so far? I mean what are people watching it for? Ok they've been at it for xxx episodes but maybe xxx+1 show will have the ghost!!!!11!
It's amazing how seriously rational people take these type of programs. "it can't be dust floating about in the air because the ghost expert say's it's more likely to be departed spirits!"
Looks, it's all real, and you can tell it's all real because they never find ghosts. Like, OMG, there are pulses between electrical outlets, it can't be the fucking electricity, nooooooo. Gotsta be tech ghosts. What a load of horseshit.
I think that Ghost Hunters is real... the actual series in the US with Jason and Grant is very fun to watch and on several occasions they have some really crazy shit happen (if its real). But yes many times they find nothing but that's what makes you think its more realistic when they do. Ive watched it from the first episode and its really nothing like what you guys are talking about. They never call orbs/dust/bugs ghosts and are quite skeptical to most/all evidence they find.
Ghost Hunters International on the other hand which is what you guys are talking about is total bull crap, since the other one is out of season. Sci-Fi just grabbed a few of the bad cast from the original show and put this thing together. These guys have never found anything and most the time claim the place is haunted when Jason and Grant from the real show would not have.
This was a good one, fake or not.

The entire premise of the damn show is flawed logically.
Even if - and there's no hard evidence for it yet - there is some such manifestation that can be proved called a ghost - there's no reason to think it's the "spirit" of a dead person.
The premise of the show is to entertain people, first and foremost. When someone tells a ghost story around a campfire, it is to create a certain atmosphere. The teller of the story isn't trying to prove anything to anyone, but to rather install thoughts like "what if" or "maybe." Spending the night in creepy old buildings where people may have been killed is also going to create a certain vibe in most people. If the ghost hunters thought they could get great evidence at a Walmart during the day, Syfy probably wouldn't want the episode, as proving the existence of ghosts is not on their expectations list.
