Alright, as you know I am a complete newb to affiliate marketing, but I've been reading a lot of the stickies/ blogs from wickedfire and I have a bunch of questions, so I am creating this blog to contain all of my newbie inquiries/ progress.

Here's my first question. Should I start campaigns with facebook or PPC with google adwords. Do I need to create landing pages if I am marketing ads on facebook, and if so, are there any tutorials I can read to improve my landing page creation skills? My Affiliate manager told me that blog style landing pages are doing pretty well so I was wondering whether or not any of you have any experiences with these kinds of LPs.

Secondly, my manager told me that campaigns promoting acai berry or other diet/health pills for women should be a good place to start for a newbie, but I think that these niches have a lot of competition, so what do you guys think?

Gochu is a funny name !! Gochu ))

Creating landing pages gives you control so get used to making them. I wouldn't start with acai ! I used to and still make blog like review sites with personal review and fake comments, works okay. Good luck

I think your affilate manager is retarded. As a newbie I'd say stay away from Acai and try your hand at something less competitive, especially if you're going into PPC - the CPC will blow your face off before you've even got started.

I used to search, but couldn't find any threads on keyword researching. Like I said, I am not interested in any programs. I just want to understand the process of finding the correct keywords using the competition/ traffic stats. Does anyone know where I can find this kind of information around here?
