Hi, short time lurker, long time wanker. So I decided Facebook in my country could be the target of some attention. I go there and I see a bunch of mobile/pin CPA offers and I figure this is working for this guy. I go in, pick offers I can use over here and proceed to upload a couple of ads, dozens of times... because they get rejected.

I go and screw around with the ad copy to make it the most genuine and precise as possible and I keep getting shit like "your text(image does show what the user will be getting". I go to great lengths to make it as direct as possible, and they keep getting rejected. Jesus Christ. Yet, I see a bunch of offers in which the image-text association is nill, even one of the ads says to click here to determine if Michael Jackson's ghost is roaming around and goes to some ass offer. I decided, instead of proceeding to be insane I would quit, but not before I added this as an add.

Don't know how many people understand Portuguese here... but thanks for the info... I didn't realize FB doesn't allow mobile/subscription offers. Perhaps I should read the Facebook Thread

^ partially true i've heard, one surefire way to get your account banned.

Much better to have a contact inside fb if you keep getting rejected for retarded reasons.

u gonna get ur account banned son.

para com essa merda e faz algum trabalho. é assim que isto funciona.

Geotargetting by the affiliate network might be your problem. Look at your offer url through a US proxy. I ran a bunch of mobile offers recently and not one disapproval. You have to use an LP with a checkbox and terms next to it though.

I did as you said, when I go the offer through a US proxy it gets redirected to webfetti toolbar. This may be the reason the ads are constantly being rejected, if they are being seen by people on Facebook US, and not on Facebook Portugal, if that ever exists. What do you mean about the landing page with the checkbox?

What you do is create ads in a new campaign redirecting through one of your urls. The redirect should go straight to the advertiser. (No affiliate link) After creating the ads pause the campaign. Wait for approval then change the redirect to the affiliate link. Then activate the campaign.

You could also mail affiliates@facebook.com and explain the geotargetting and hope they will retroactively approve it 8)

The checkbox thing: On the landing page there will be a box to fill in the phone number, near it there should be a checkbox with a text like "I understand the T&C's and know that this will cost me $x/per week" Usually mobile offers have LP's with and without this checkbox. To be compliant you have to use the LP with the checkbox. Also know that this kills conversions.

Makes sense all of what you said, thanks. Still, one thing I have on my mind is, like I mentioned previously, doesn't the referrer goes blank if I redirect through my domain to the affiliate offer?

From what I found 301 and 302 redirects pass the original referer so the referer will not be your redirect url. You shouldn't worry about this shit though. Almost all of us use some kind of tracking script, be it prosper202 or something homemade like I do.

I used a php redirect, 301 and 302 redirects redirecting a domain I have to another one that checks for the referrer and it came blank. Can I do that with tracking202? I heard that networks are a bit anal when the referrer is blank, so I would like them to see that traffic is coming from Facebook or any other social network or valid source.
