Thought you guys may be interested in this as it's a fantastic example of the power of the internet and although not deliberate, viral marketing. (It also shows despotism in action being overruled by the people).

BBC News - NeverSeconds blogger Martha Payne school dinner photo ban lifted

To cut a long story short a 9 year old girl was blogging about the poor quality of her school dinners.

NeverSeconds

The site had gotten huge traction and so the school banned her from photographing the meals. (The meals are shithouse)

People were outraged at this and the story has gone mental in the UK.

This has resulted in the ban being lifted but also the raising of almost £60k (as I write this) for a charity she was asking visitors to donate to (over a 24 hour period).

Martha Payne is fundraising for Mary

As an internet marketer and anti big government advocate I think this is a really inspiring story.

If you read the blog posts you can't help but get the impression of a really devoted dad helping her achieve all this.

Don't wanna take the spotlight off of her, but it's cool to see guys help their kids achieve things like this.
