I'm developing a new relationship with someone in the financial industry who, long story short, just totally hooked me up. I barely know them at this point, but I want to send them a thank you. I usually send a good bottle of scotch, cigars, things like that - but like I said I don't know much about this person yet and what they are in to. I guess I could always send a nice bottle of wine or champagne, anyone have any other cool ideas?

If they are making decent money themselves, don't get them a gift card. It's fairly tacky, if they aren't making decent money gift cards are the way to fucking go - poor people love that shit.

Since this guy works in finance, I'm going to assume he is making decent bank. Whenever I need to get a nice present my go to gifts are usually one of the following: scotch, cigars, good quality aged meats, bed and breakfast package, golf shit (I fucking hate golf, but business people lap that shit up. If they are into it - give them a round of golf with an am/pro guy. Better than a lesson IMO) and one of the best things is shit their wives could use - it basically means you are hooking up some nice sex from their SO. Spa days etc.
