I have a question about using the adwords tool to do keyword research.
Here is the question:
WHen you are searching for a keyword term do you specifically use the broad, exact or phrase match? and if so, does it make any difference in terms of the general results you will get about a keywords popularity?
For example, sometimes i'll type in a keyword and use the "exact" match box and nothing will show up with my exact keyword name.
Then, I'll do a broad search and under "related" keywords, it will give me the search volume of words that are similar to my keywords. e.g if I search for blue ringtones and use exact match, I'll get nothing with these particular phrases, but if i use broad match, i'll get something like this: "ringtones that are blue" or "crooked blue ringtones": so my main keywords will be there, but I have to use the broad box to get to them.
So, how do you guys use the google adwords tool in order to get the most accurate results?
