Google bought Zagat



Could anyone explain the significance of this?

I mean instinctively it feelsbadman, but why or how?
 
Anyone out of Nevada want to partner on a web project? Basically we place odds and take bets on the next company google acquires.

....every other week Google seems to buy more
 
After buying Sparkbuy.com the Zagat deal is quite consistent and sure they will buy other assets in the next months.
They are building a giant review based marketing platform (Local/Global), integrate this with Google Places and Maps/Earth and I jizz in my pants.
