I love how the comic book thing says they started from scratch, yet use the WebKit rendering engine ;). Does look pretty cool though, think i'll give it a test run tonight.

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Finally, I can rub one out in complete secrecy

My only complaint so far is it won't let me hold down my mouse wheel for a quick scroll... Other than that, I really like the fact that each tab is it's own process... bring on the rick rolls!

My time to edit ran out :|

Annoying shit:
This thing obviously makes my firewall go NUTS. It's constantly accessing the registry etc, way more then the general permissions you are used to adding when you install a new app.

I like the "quick complete" stuff in the address bar more than Google's.

I'm guessing your average person would like this browser more than firefox or IE. I personally like firefox, I'm used to using all of the addons, and the way it's setup.

Awesome Ideas:
The start page, I think opera has been doing something like this for awhile, but why hasn't firefox? Having the top 8 websites I use there ready to click is sweet. 99% of what I'm doing is probably on those top8 sites.

The incognito thing, limiting it to a tab was a damn good idea.

The tab processes - No real experience using it but it sounds sweet.

Most of my issues are with the firewall stuff. Sorry for 3 posts, but it froze while I was editing :|

Overall Firefox is much better in my opinion

I uninstalled because of all the shit it was trying to do. I made it through adding about 30 different permissions in my firewall, then GoogleUpdate.exe started to go to town. I'll have to mess with it later. If you're busy I'd wait until tomorrow. This was a bigger pain in the ass than upgrading to FF3 beta

I haven't had any firewall issues like RuDeDoGg, but Chrome definitely seems like a CPU hog right now.

Chrome CPU usage when idle: between 2% and 35%

Firefox CPU usage when idle: between 1% and 5%

just installed it and inputting this reply in google chrome. Have to say its amazingly fast in downloading webpages. I will use google chrome for general browsing but firefox will be my number one browser for web development.

Appears to be the DNS prefetching, turned off cpu usage went way down for me.
