Hey guys,

I had my site for 2 month now in a niche, I am ranked on page 1. I used a couple of services from BST, mostly profile blasts - generic and high pr sites, as well as articles and social bookmarks. I did alot of manual blog postings as well.

The issue is that in google webmaster and yahoo site explore tool, most of the backlinks are the ones I"ve done manually. Little or none from the services I bought shows up there. I am assuming this is a good thing right?

There is no doubt that those services helped my SERP. But I am wondering if there is a more efficient way to track the effectiveness of different linkbuilding services?

Problem is that all the tools get their information from the same sources:
Google and Yahoo and the SE do not want us knowing the effectiveness
of our linking campaigns. The backlinks that they show are not necessarily
the backlinks that helped the most.

They don't want us to HAVE linking campaigns.

You should use something like SEO Moz. I notice profiles don't really show up in YSE or Webmaster tools. Sometimes they do but 99% of the time they don't.

Thanks for the tips guys. I know these linkbuilding services really helped my site, just wanted to make sure I am doing it right in Terms of tracking effectiveness.
