Hello Guys,

I have a Adwords account with $150k+ on spending so far and saw on a couple of threads that google can bill you within 45 days/postpay in some cases.

Tried to look for more information about this on WF but couldnt find really any.... so I was wondering if anyone can give me some information on how this works and what are the requirements to start doing Postpay with the big G?

It would help me a lot with my AM efforts if I could do this :)

Thank you in advance!

Forgot to menction that I have postpay as my default (and I think is the only option) but they bill me every $500 :( So would like to increase this or are there any other options?

I believe the min spend is 5 figures / monthly.

They call it invoicing and the only downsides are that you cannot use a credit card or debit card to pay. Only checks or wires.

So, no credit card points but in my case I am able to spend up to $315,000 / month without having to pay them until I am paid.

It was really nice when I was expanding my business earlier this year.

they also have a direct debit option. There were some weird technical problems with my account so they couldnt set it up for me. But you can have it set up so G can just take a debit from your bank account.

Much easier than having to worry about big charges always getting declined on your credit card.

Actually that is my problem the credit cards and debit cards. I dont have enough cash on hand so giving me 30 or 45 or even 60 days to pay it would help me generate more revenue and start growing my AM business.

do you know what other requirements they have to do this "invoicing" ?

by the way jonathan, I love your blog! Its really inspiring..... wish I could be making that much :) Im working hard to accomplish that lever someday.

They require a 3-month spending history and a large part of your approval and assigned credit line is based on that. I don't think it necessarily needs to be 5-figures monthly but probably close to it. They did mention that they do require a credit check on the company owner though ... honestly, Jon Volks right, the credit card route is probably far better. I've been through the same issues with leaving money on the table because of lack of access to capital but in the end you'll experience exponential growth either way, just obviously not as fast.

I've weighed the options here and in the end I didn't go for invoicing. Once you go invoicing you can't go back to credit card... and I love the points.

I ended up asking for the minimum amount to bill credit card to be increased and I got it from $500 to $10,000 - which really helped.
