Hey guys, first post on WickedFire and I thought I'd start it off with an open discussion about some changed G might be planning on pushing out.
Not sure if many of you have heard the changes Google is trying out with some of the US serps but it seems as if they're moving over to AJAX. Once in a while I can see that the URLs to my queries have changed from “/search?=” to “/search?#=” Which is a major red flag because each query is now an AJAX call.
I know for a fact that this will break ALL of my SEM scripts because as you may or may not know no browsers currently don't send referrer information past the # mark.
Just wanted to open up some dialog about this issue because it seems as if we might have to start rethinking this game all together.
Not to mention the havoc wreak on every single analytics software anyone uses other than G-Analytics. :thefinger:
