Google to begin sharing URLs where AdWords advertiser's ads are being run

In the next few months, Google’s advertiser reports will begin listing the sites where each ad runs, Ms. Malone said. She added that advertisers on the Google networks would soon be able to bid on contextual ads on particular Web sites rather than simply buying keywords that appeared across Google’s entire network.

This could be bad for a lot of smaller arbitragers who depend on Adsense for their income. I'm sure many people will start to add sites sending non converting traffic to their block lists once this happens.

It's time to start making sure you are sending targeted traffic and not just anything that moves.

The big guys really don't have much o worry about I think. Many are still using Yahoo feeds and other comparison shopping feeds.

The referal data already shows this, you just need to be able to collect it yourself.

Arbitrage will never dissappear; but perhaps the EPCs will start to more closely reflect their true value. As for Yahoo, I'm suprised they haven't clamped down on it. When I was looking into Yahoo's search feed all I could find were forum threads of people complaining how they were getting large volumes of horrible traffic.

Hmmm, most traffic on normal "legit" sites doesn't seem to convert all that well anyway, maybe arbi traffic converts better? I've heard of more than one person doing well by targeting MFAs and arbi sites with site targeting.
