well, its up to you how much you want to bid. But yeah, since this is a new beast its still mysterious to gauge CPC/CPM.

This is just a thought, but can you watermark video from youtube, shorten the clip to lets say 15 second for a ringtone offer and bid for a certain music program? Need more digging considering copyright issues etc tho. Plus im not really sure how to track conversion ratio or other metrics with this TV ads

was doing some of this with a client back in october - still in beta at the time. The CPMs were really great for TV spots, but this was probably due in part to the program being in beta and the competition in the demographic being limited. System was very simple - upload your spot, pick your networks, time slots you want to bid on and go.

I know a guy doing this now and he really likes it... With his demographic, I believe he's spending about $250 per 30 second commercial. It must convert well for him, because he's been doing it for 2 months now.

That has to be metropolitan area rates or prime time.

Here in the midwest, I can buy $2 ads from 9am to 4pm and $3 ads from there on out when placing ads on the Food networks, Home and Garden, etc. shit.

Cost per 30 second averages down to $17 with primetime included.

Used to do mortgage lead website via TV before the implosion. MAD MONEY. Right now, I could give the shit away.
