Personally, think its kind of funny. Maher made a bet not expecting Trump to play along.

It's $5 mil to charity... not to make Trump richer.

I didn't read the article but Trump is coming off as wanting more attention for stupid reasons. After saying Mac Miller was awesome for making "Donald Trump" and was "the next eminem", he now wants money for the song.

The short story...

Trump said he would donate $5 million to charity if Obama released his college records (fucking sigh...)

Maher goes on the tonight show and says he would donate $5 million to charity if Trump proved his father wasn't an orangutan.

Trump releases his birth certificate extract, supposedly proving his father was not an orangutan.

Maher says Trump released the birth certificate extract, and not the long form birth certificate (the same thing Trump said of Obama).

Pretty hilarious stuff.
