Apparently my own creative ideas are lame...



I'm streaming myself starting a new Internet business. probably a directory or something in the local market, so people can just watch how it works.

I'm not going to be selling anything to the people watching (I'll make plenty of money from the company), I just have my office wired with a couple of cameras now so people can see me build the company live, as it's happening.



The two promo videos I have now are a "fake looking, lame, make-an-ass-out-of-myself" (see http://www.wickedfire.com/now-somet.../20122-chubby-nerd-goes-fucking-ape-shit.html) video and another 1 minute video.

I'm going to do a Q & A video on Monday to answer some questions about the project, and then after that, I'm going to start building my new 'net startup' company.



What do you think would make for an interesting promo video for the lifecast?

Just don't make it a douchbaggery video project like the "Next Internet Millionaire". . . If you're going to do this, share some of the techniques you use - don't just build up to pitch a fucking ebook.

If I were trying to build a promo, I'd make a video bitch slap of Joel Comm and everything that sucked about the NIM series.
 
You should start it out like 2 girls 1 cup, but the cup will be Joel Comm's face. You shit on his face, then he tells everyone to hold on and gets up and goes over to the mirror to draw his fucked up thin ass goatee on with the shit. Then he breaks into one of his annoying "I'm better than everyone else" sales pitches and his head gets blown off. You walk on the scene with a sniper rifle, check to make sure he's dead... then look up at the camera, walk over to it and shut it off. Do you want me to direct it?

PS- No offense, but you could probably play Joel Comm if you got the right glasses and drawn on facial hair. Your partner will probably have to be the sniper.

This isn't going to be anything like that. It's just going to be me and my business partner starting a new project live... lol ALL the techniques are going to be shared.


There's a million reasons why we're doing it, but the main reason is that I thought it would be fun. Actually I got the idea when Jon stickied the $100k/yr directory post, and I got slammed with questions about it.





Anyways, I know you guys can do better than 2g1c or sex in the office... quit holding out.
 
Sex is still the #1 seller on the net, so I'd do something along the lines of what Muscly Jerk did. This video went viral a year ago and got well over 1MM views. Check it out - nothing special besides a few hot girls talking, shitty music in the background and questions spelled out on the screen. Short and sweet... and enough to go viral. I like the net startup idea CorrectAD. Make it quality and you're on to something.
