Hey guys, looking for some serious advise. Right now I play in the automotive sector (auto loans, car ins, warranties). So far I've got a steady stream of leads coming in month, (all organically promoted) but with current state of the economy dynamic pricing (bid based) is failing me. My lead count is through the roof and I've barely seen an increase in income. I'm looking for a fixed pricing offer so that I can scale the offer better.

I'm already with associated with the major networks (Azoogle, Hydra, C2M, A4D, Advaliant) all of which do not offer ping/post or a custom form that I can iframe in. I've spoke directly with all my affiliate managers with networks that have automotive offers (except at advaliant) each of which have pretty much drug me around by my toe nails telling me their network is different, and that they will get me the custom form. After two weeks, numerious phone calls and countless IMs. I'm still stuck with my damn dynamic pricing with Detroit Trading.

(Dynamic pricing is where some leasds sell for $50 and others for $4 and some dont sell at all, basically I have 90+ lenders bidding on my leads, the ones in rural areas sell for shit.)

I've got everything in place to grow but finding a fixed pricing offer is pivotal to my success.

Right now with dynamic pricing we are only selling 52% of the leads we generate, making the average price per lead roughly ~$7 (which is a joke). I have the option to add other networks (dynamicing networks) to our ping/post setup but I will need to pay a coder or completely rewrite our code.

I know the converting keywords I also have the capital but without a fixed offer it is too big of a gamble to start scaling with ppc.

If you were stuck in my shoes what would you do?

Can you expand on that? I've tried hunting down lenders to no allude, and dealerships want a fixed set of leads.

Who is buying from the networks? That would be my first step.

You can also check leadpoint and leadpile to see who is buying those types of leads.

How many of the auction type markets do you have in your ping/post setup? Are there others you can add?

I had that type of situation with leads a couple of years ago and just wrote a system to ping as many places as possible starting with the highest payout then working its way down, finally forwarding to a prepopped cpa offer or basically a rejection page with adsense on it.

Step one is basically do everything you can to make at least *some* money off of every lead. Step two is to build good data on which lead demographics are the most profitable. Once you have this data you can look at acquiring paid traffic targeted to what's making the most and hopefully turn a profit with ppc, etc. from there.

rmkauf, right now i'm only with 1 network. I'm not a very good PHP coder and had a friend help me with the setup. Wouldn't even know where to begin for adding more. Interesting stuff on the prepoppable cpa offers. I like the thinking. Right now we email them if their lead was placed with a lender, however I think I should just redirect them either way.

Any other suggestions?

Hey atoreese,

Let me know what you're looking for per lead, and I may know someone. We work with a lot of insurance companies, and insurance lead gen companies.

Since I don't know you, I wouldn't be willing to buy and resell, but I'm happy to simply connect you and let the client decide.

Can you give me the details? Geography? Fields? Quantity? Asking price? How do you create them?

Send me a PM if you like.

You can set up minimum prices with DT, replicate your integrations with them at particular price points, then start adding in individual buyers to fill the gaps. You may also want to redirect the unsold leads to another auto loan offer (affiliate). We dont have any but there are PLENTY out there. Perhaps another offer has a more developed ping tree and can help you monetize what is falling to the floor.....

The technical integration isn't usually too hard. Just do a little googling for all the auction ping/post type networks that handle your verticals... look at detroittrading, leadpile, leadpoint, etc.

With your current buyer do you redirect the visitor in realtime if the lead is purchased? If not, don't redirect the sold leads to a cpa offer or you'll probably be violating the lead buyer's tos or at very least highly eroding the quality.
