They've already picked up millions of dollars worth of juicy backlinks from every news organization in the world. Weird since none of my poorly designed, half-baked, non-functioning sites get any love at all.

I haven't looked at the site, but they're probably talking about on-page SEO stuff. For one thing, there's been reports of broken links.
