Guest Post Links on High Quality and Relevant Blogs

What are guest posts?

Guest posts are high quality blog posts, published on someone else’s blog. The benefit to you of this is that the blog post links back to your site, so you receive a valuable and effectively permanent link from a high quality and relevant site. Importantly, links like these can also drive their own traffic, as well as benefiting your search engine rankings.

For example — if you own a site about home improvement, you could find someone else’s blog that also covers home improvement topics, write a high quality exclusive article for them, and get in touch with them asking them to publish your article. That’s a broad overview of the process, but all the work involved with those steps can take a while, which is why we offer this service — so you have more time to spend how you choose.

And it’s important to note that with guest posting, each article will only ever be published on one site to avoid any duplicate content issues. And if the content wasn’t exclusive to their one site, the blog owner wouldn’t probably agree to publish the article (and your link) since high quality blogs stay high quality because the site owner is generally specific about the quality of content that appears on the site.

Are guest posts worthwhile links?

Guest posting has been around almost since the start of the web, and it continues to work to this day. One reason for this is that they’re high quality links that aren’t particularly easy to get since they take time and effort and since the whole process is 100% manual (the process can not be automated).

Guest posts even often occur on sites as credible as FT.com (Financial Times) so they’re about as far removed from low quality links as you can get, and are here to stay.

What exactly does the service offer?

Our service works in the following way:
  1. We receive your order, including all relevant details to complete your order (keywords, URLs, number of guest posts…)
  2. We write very high quality either 500 word, 1,000 word, or 2,000 word articles for you to complete that part of the order.
  3. We then find high quality sites to publish your articles on. (Important note: we can’t guarantee it but generally the sites we publish to are of Page Rank 2 or higher, and we always make a point of choosing high quality sites that are regularly published to and are as relevant to your topic as possible.)
  4. Your guest posts are then published and link back to your site.
  5. We send you an update once the guest posts are live so you can see where they’ve been published.

Please note: links from guest posts are generally at the end of the article in the “About The Author” section, and each post can support one URL/keyword.

The Hidden Dangers Of Link Building

How long will an order take to complete?

This depends on the size of the order, how long it takes us to find relevant sites, and when those sites fit your guest posts into their publishing schedule. However when your order is received we’ll let you know broad expected deadlines for when each aspect of your work will be completed.

Please note as every article is hand written and edited before we start looking for blogs to submit your articles to, it’s not a fast process (perhaps a couple of weeks for smaller orders). We then may need to wait a couple of weeks for the post to appear as many blogs have a busy publishing schedule.

So guest posting on quality blogs is not a fast process, so please allow a few weeks for your posts to actually appear online. But the length of this process shows the quality of the links, since everything is created and reviewed manually:

  1. Article is written by hand
  2. Article is edited and finalized
  3. Relevant blogs are searched and approached
  4. The best blog that agrees to publish the article is chosen
  5. The article is added to the blog’s publishing schedule to appear at a later date (may be a couple of days, or may be a couple of weeks, depending how often the blog publishes new articles).

Now as mentioned all this does depend on the size of the order — for large orders you will receive regular updates.

We can also send you the articles as soon as they’re written if you’d like, but we do strongly suggest not publishing that content elsewhere as that can greatly diminish the effectiveness of these guest posts.

How many guest posts will you need?

This is a difficult question to answer without knowing:

  • The authority of your site in Google’s eyes (age, amount of quality links…etc.)
  • The competition level of the keyword you’re going after
  • How your site currently compares to your competitors

As well as other factors. If you’re not sure about how many guest posts to order, perhaps start with a small order of five or so, keep an eye on your rankings, and then order more as necessary.

Or use a service like Majestic SEO, Open Site Explorer, or ahrefs to examine the backlink profiles of your competitors to see whether you’re on the same level as them or if you need to get a lot of links in place to really compete with them for the more competitive terms.

And it’s strongly suggested you use a wide variety of linking keywords including your site name, or even just your site URL, as well as long tail keywords, synonyms…etc. For example:

If you choose to build 100 links for example all with the linking text “car insurance” that does not look natural, so a wide variety of linking keywords is suggested with a good percentage linking to your home page to help build up the overall authority of your site. And home page links will often be linking using the site name or site URL rather than specific keywords you’d like to rank for so that’s worth bearing in mind.

What information do we need from you?

When ordering please choose how many guest posts you’d like, and which length of guest post you would like (or perhaps a mixture of different lengths).

A longer guest post is more likely to be highly informative, and therefore highly read, commented on, and even shared and linked to. And it’s been thought for a while now that Google does prefer more in depth pages compared to less in depth and ‘thinner’ pages, so often more in depth pages do seem to rank better long term.

As well as that we also need to know which URLs to build links to and which keywords to use for those links.

Each guest post can support one link. And for example — if you order 100 guest posts but only supply 10 keywords/URLs, we will link to each URL 10 times unless you specify otherwise.

Whereas if some keywords are more important to you than others please also mention that when you place your order in the “Any Notes” part of the form.

What will happen once you’ve placed your order?

Once you’ve placed your order, either the same or next business day (Monday to Friday) we will send you an email confirming the details and expected timeline of your order, then over the following weeks as your order is completed we will send you updates for each of the following milestones:

  1. Writing complete
  2. Have started approaching blogs
  3. Blogs have added your articles to their publishing schedule
  4. Guest posts have been published

If your order is for a lot of guest posts, you may receive more updates than just the four listed above, as the work may take more than a few weeks to complete so we would want to keep you regularly updated.

What we also offer now is the option of letting you know which blogs are showing interest in your articles, so you can choose the ones you prefer rather than us choosing. This is added to the order page as an option.

This shouldn't really slow down completing orders much. But do be aware that longer articles get more interest from high quality blogs than shorter articles, and also the type of site we're creating the link to does affect who shows interest.

Remember - voucher WF23986 gives you 20% off any orders this month.

And a few more notes regarding what affects where your links end up:

We don't work with our own or other people's networks, we only work with blog owners directly. The following can make a big difference to the quality of blogs that show interest in linking to you:

  • Length of article - more is better if you want to get onto a high traffic blog
  • Type of link - links that are particularly keyword heavy will have more trouble being placed on very high quality blogs
  • Type/Quality of site - the type of site being linked to will also affect which blogs show interest.

Effectively, the really high quality and high traffic blogs are generally pretty demanding about those points for anything they publish, so please keep these points in mind when placing your order.

That said, we do also offer 500 word articles if you're more interested in links from multiple blogs and are happy if they're PR1 to PR3. These links generally won't drive many click throughs but are worthwhile for the serps and as much as possible we'll aim to get these onto sites relevant for your niche.
