Hello All,

I've been doing some work on a SaaS system that has nothing to do with online marketing but I need to find a domain for it. I've come up with a handful of options but really they aren't "catchy".

I really want a brand able domain. I have come up with a list of keywords that make sense for the niche, but I'm sure I need to continue adding to it.

What are the best ways to come with ideas for finding domains? Related keywords? Etc? The niche is primarily targeted at Latin Markets so a name in Spanish would be nice, but something short and simple in English could work.

Much appreciated,

Nick

Your Best bet is to go to google keyword tool then choose spanish as the language settings then enter the phrases you wish to target to see what competion there is and how much traffic you could expect from an exact match domain. the lower the search volume the easier it should be to rank for that term but then it could impact exactly how much traffic you get as a result

I've been using leandomainsearch.com lately. You just enter a word and the tool combines your keyword with a database of thousands of generic words. It then searches to see whether the .com is available. Most of the results are pretty lame, but I usually come across at least a few decent brandable names. It doesn't do Spanish words, though.

Having a domain name in Spanish is great, but when it comes to the name value and SEO, I think a domain in English is still more advisable. Anyway, what about using Whois to check your domain name? If the name you check is already taken, Whois will normally suggest several alternatives.

Do you have a budget to buy an aftermarket domain? You can check out Afternic and Sedo. If you're just looking for an available domain to register at less than $10, you may try tools like bustaname.com, nameboy.com, etc.
