Hacked by Ron Paul Supporter

Earlier this evening i checked up on one of my sites and the homepage had been hacked and changed to a support Ron Paul page with a huge Ron Paul Revolution Banner, a donation link and a youtube video.

I already support Ron Paul, but I wish whoever this was wouldn't do this kind of stuff because I think it hurts Ron Paul more than it helps. Say it was the Huffington Post or a site the media could take and run with.

I checked the source where the banner was coming from and it went to this website.

Pretty sure it was done with an sql injection. Judging by the look of the site it may be the hackers site... but who knows.

What do you guys think about supporting Ron Paul in this way?

I think it's fuckin retarded to try and get Ron Paul's name out like this. It definitely hurts more than it helps... these folks are caught up in some revolution mentality, but one of the primary things Paul believes in is Don't Fuck with Other Peoples Property! (but it would prolly sound nicer out of his mouth)

Not a good way to promote a candidate. RP is running on his credibility (never voted for a tax increase, never voted for an unbalanced budget, etc etc) and using spam to support him just distracts from his message and substance. This is not the first time people used questionable online tactics to promote Ron Paul.
