Office Space?.. almost.

Clever though. The guys excuse was absolutely ridiculous, though.

unlike moneybookers that TAKE money from your account and then when you enter the amount if your a Non USD customer they say whoops, it must be in exact USD amount, sigh*

It never ceases to amaze me how people can be so smart in one area, and so stupid in another. There are so many things he could have applied that technique to which would have made just as much money with far less risk.

Good call. People like that sometimes succeed but I find it's the people who know a little about alot tend to be more well rounded, both in business and in their personal lives.

Very smart guy, and he should have had no problems in make very good money online legitimately if he focussed his efforts elsewhere.

John"good for him, i wish he would have gotten away with it."

This is the sad state of our world when someone think it's all right to steal.
But if he was stealing from you John would you still say "wish he got away with it"

Seem if he really want to get away with it he would of used a off shore account ... This guy was stupid and yet has the smarts to create the script.

SepReborn has it right the guy could make money online legal with is skills ....

haha i love this story.

I actually had that idea come across my brain quite some time ago, i didn't act on it though.

I always wondered how much those small transactions cost the company, apparently a lot.

This guy had ballz.

Fair play to the fella... 10 out of 10 for the idea.. 3 out of 10 for execution..

He is a really smart guy, 50K accounts and cheating on Google checkout system is not easy ;)
Sounds a plot for some new hacking movie.

I think he will learn from this experience and if he does something similar he won't make the same mistake. Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.

Or may be hired by Google Or some top security companies. If he gets away with it.

probably an affiliate market dweeb that got tired of blowing all his money on domains without making a penny back... his revenge obviously had a loophole.
