Has anyone ever thought of out of country merchandise?

I was just wondering. Items in places such as India (even the jewelry) is at least double the price here.

Has anyone ever thought about taking advantage of that? Or have you seen people already doing it?

I.e. Buying stuff there to sell here?

Here. I design certain products and I outsource the manufacturing and I sell them here (US, UK, Canada, Oz)

It can be a lucrative business but you have to find a manufacturer that you can trust. Also, find out how much you have to pay customs for the items that you will be importing here to avoid surprises.
