So I'm sitting there reading some shit for school, and I need to check out this word "depose" and an ad pops up on the side, asking if I would like to purchase some depose from ebay.com...

Definition of "Depose"
1 : to remove from a throne or other high position
2 : to put down

Isn't google supposed to be getting smarter? Is ebay behind these type of ads or is ebay?

Honestly, the rest of the google adsense program is seal tight, very high integrity "contextual" ads but this is just weird.

yea i noticed that too. it's like ebay is bidding on every word in the dictionary.

AdWords is like a turkey shoot for eBay. They get rock bottom prices on almost all their bids.

It must work though, they've been doing it for awhile now.

they got contracts, they dunt give a shit, ebay probably puts in $XXM+ per year to g00gle.

Did anyone else notice the major exposure ebay got from the Transformers movie? The ebay brand is the biggest strength of that company (the actual site seems archaeic sometimes)

It's prob eBay being fuckin stupid, but if it's an affiliate and you want to be a cunt (or take out some competition?) report em - direct links on ppc are against eBay's terms now.

ebay stopped using adwords it must be some affiliate. u can report them if u dont like, quality control link at bottom of page

Report them to eBay/CJ instead :Yahoo_29: .... However some networks haven't bothered telling affiliates of the ppc restrictions. I know AuctionAds hasn't so if the links go through them with their direct links (unlikely, but possible) then can't blame the affiliate.

Anyone want to do eBay on Adwords? Maybe use AuctionAds links!
