Cool story. Not my way of doing things, but that's why the story is so cool: he handled it his own way.

Plus, I love Gallardos. I think they have an awesome look about them and - as the article states - used ones can be grabbed up off of eBay for as low as $100,000.

Cool story, bro. More than a dozen times I have sat in my little car on the highway that connects to the interstate, wanting to just leave it all behind and just keep driving west. But I always head back to home and my responsibilities.

This guy could probably continue living the gypsy lifestyle working as an affiliate marketer if he had the skills.

I suspect you listen to,

it's great in that he followed his own path. i'm sure he would have gained a more meaningful experience if he did the same thing with a cheaper car or considered how many flights that 90k down payment could have bought.

worked for him so cheers.

Well i didnt read the story but I'm guessing the Lambo came with perks like unlimited free pussy during his travel. Quite a nice perk.

Nice car, but his story don't add up.

Why would the fiance leave just when they'd got a new house and she'd got a ring?

There's two sides to every story...

$180,000 car, and it couldn't make it 100,000 miles without becoming a giant paperweight...yep, that's what I want to buy.

I thought the same thing. I'm already at 106,000 running like new and I only paid $6,500...

Unballin!

Yep, and his miles were probably the vast majority highway miles...I see absolutely no reason why something that expensive should break down, unless he was just careless, didn't do his maintenance, etc... But even with that factored in, the quality should be to such a standard that 100,000 miles shouldn't be a problem.

There's something wrong when a $20k Hyundai gets you a 100,000 mile warranty, but not a $180,000 Lamborghini. Yes, I know one is strictly a Point A to Point B vehicle, and the other is a high performance sports car, BUT STILL . . .

On a side note, my Dr. as a child was Indian, and his name was Dr. Lababidi. I could never get it right, so I just called him Dr. Lamborghini (and as good as he was I'm sure he has one in the garage).

I can't get the story to load because gawker assets always craps out on me. However, I was going to say... beautiful car the Gallardo but at 30k km everything goes to shit. Friend of mine here on the Costa had one that used to be owned my Kimi Raikkonen and he had nothing but problems with it. The car was in the shop a lot. A heat sensor went, so the car wouldn't let him start the engine. Then there was some other issue. Then the whole tranny went. At which point he called the broker to come load it on a truck and take it away. He drove Porsches before and ever since.

And as someone else pointed out the seats are uncomfortable as all hell. The lumbar is too far forward, the headrest too far back, with no lateral support and they have almost no adjustments, which is absolute shit for a car like this.

Yeah I woulda went with the RV too I think I'd tire of driving a lambo after a few days tops.

I don't see how he had to cash to do all of this. It says he barely made the 90k deposit on the car and then took out a loan for the rest. Never managed to sell his house but never worked during his years of driving. Not to mention the 25k police run in.
