I don't know what it is but for some reason PPC just doesn't work for me. Right now i'm promoting something and have already spent like $100 but go no conversions. I had 67 clicks so far, which isn't a shit ton, but i'll run it till 100..

anyway can somone give me some advice as to how to start a PPC campaign to test it out?

for instance, keywords give me a lot of trouble. i never know if i should focus on a smaller amount of keywords that have very simlar meanings or if i should go w/ a lot of keywords that aren't as closely related

i'm doing a bizop, so i'm hitting up like "how to make money online" and what now. I'm direct linking right now too, i'm guna make an LP but i just wanted to see what would happen. Help is greatly apprecated!

Like i said, FB is where i'm good at .. ppc not so much so help w/ ppc and i help you w/ FB!:xmas-smiley-016:

You are direct linking BizOpps... that is pretty much just asking for 0 conversions in my opinion.

People need to know a little more information about the Opportunity part (Just post links on google etc.) before they are going to stick their credit card into some random page saying sign up now.

alrite wasn't sure .. the only reason i did it was to kinda test .. but this one kid on here said he was direct linking on the content network and making sales ... i was like that sounds horribly off, but i dont know..

guess i'll do my LP thing

First, you spent $100 on 67 clicks? That's absurdly high. Second, keyword mother fucking targeting. If you want to make money on FB that is the key. Finally as said before direct linking on bizopps is shit, but it can work offers on facebook.

my bad ... i'm not talking about advertising on FB.... I'm talking about advertising on adwords .. i have FB experience .. not PPC tho

The MMO market is saturated - everyone and their dogs gives away tons of stuff to buy something. I also thought of trying that (yes, I'm a noobie with PPC though do have my bearings straight when it comes to IM & MMO).

May want to sign-up for one of those all you can eat PLR sites and download useless shit and stuff - throw up a mini-site, beg people to buy from your link BECAUSE you're giving them $100,000,000 worth of stuff for free and hopefully they buy from your link.

Don't do this.

Alright, I don't post much because as a newb myself I don't have much to say. But, here's my suggestion. Pick a good offer, just one. Ask your affiliate manager for something that's converting well on ppc. Focus on MSN Adcenter to begin with...it's not google, but it's also not google.

Think of a unique play on the product being marketed...a helpful AM once told me if it's the first thing that comes to your mind, don't bother. It's already come to someone else's mind long before. Try to think like the potential buyers you're targeting...what would appeal to them? What keywords might they search for? Try to find an angle that's not saturated (only a few sponsored links pop up when those particular keywords are searched). Create a targeted adgroup with 3-4 ads with that keyword/keywords featured prominently, or dynamically. Make a landing page with that same keyword(s) and related keywords all over it, that appeals to the group of buyers you're targeting and is relevant to their search. Test. Test. Read these forums top to bottom. Start again. Test...etc. Good luck.

Hi, I'm new to this too, and to my understanding, you should write A LOT of ads on PPC, just to see which one is better. And the sticky threads at "Affiliate Marketing" forum here are a must-read. The Ad Matrix totally blew my mind.

I may get flamed for this - but why not look at what the other PPC ads? I mean, isn't that the most obvious thing to do? So I'm gonna try and sell Acai - find some keywords and start typing unless you have an automated way to do it. Look at the PPC ads what are they doing?

I've been reading as much as I can about PPC over the last while, and one thing that seems to be a common thread is the quality of the landing page will determine where you are in the ad placement (1st page at the top or 25th page at the bottom).

Again - I'm learning as well and am by no means an expert.
