I am very frustrated with trying to make money on Facebook so at this point I just want to see what earning a profit looks like because surely I am missing something. This goes out to those who are making a profit on facebook, I will give anyone $200 who can show me how to make $20 in a single day on Facebook. I am not asking how to make 1000's of dollars, I just want to see what it takes to make $20.00. This doesn't have to be day after day, or even more than 1 day for that matter.

What offers are you running?
Direct linking or landing page?
How are you targeting?
CPM or CPC?
 
Why wouldn't you just take your 200 dollars and use that for advertising and figure it out for yourself? Facebook isn't the only traffic source to make money with. You may want to look into other traffic sources if you're having problems with them.

It sounds like you're not testing enough. Make tons of variations of your ads and mix your images up. Try and find an image that somebody would be like "wtf is that" or will make them laugh to catch their attention.
 
easy...spend $5,000 on facebook ads and you can pretty much market anything. You are GUARANTEED to make $20 that way.
 
I've run gaming, insurance and mobile. I DL and run about 15-20 different AD variations for each. I have spent anywhere from $100-$200 per niche testing. Have done both CPM and CPC but mostly CPM. Targeting varied from niche to niche but I think this is where I need the most help.

Maybe you're not targeting the right demographics. Have you tested that as well?
 
People are not in 'buy mode' on facebook. Meaning they are just looking to chat with friends / grow strawberries on farmville. So... insurance is out for a start. Anything where people have to part with money is going to be hard to push on facebook. Though, im no expert, this is just what i have read.

^^ then everything you've read is wrong.
 
if you don't have fb ad manager, spend ur $200 on that first. join ewa second, get dupre's 700 pictures third, and push dating fourth. if you still can't make money, good luck.

When I first started out I was frustrated the same way. I felt like everybody who was making money must've been doing something different, because no matter what I tried, no matter how I did it, it wouldn't work.

Try some more, fail some more, get really frustrated some more. By doing that you'll learn enough that eventually you will start to make some money.
 
Screw Facebook. AdWords is 100x more profitable IMO. If you have $200 to spend, you can easily construct a landing page and run a PPC campaign to make $220 from buying $200 worth of clicks. There's your $20 profit for the day. :)
