Help, my programmer cant solve my duplicate pages

I would appreciate if any member can refer me to a programmer as a once off consultation to help my programmer solve our duplicate page content and page titles, and or any other issues that needs to be solved,:confused: that we are getting with our moz report. This is an e-commerce site and we have about 8000 + pages, we have been trying to solve this for quite some time now. I don't want to go piss around in the Dark anymore. Thanks in advance.
 


Cas... Also mention what programming language this is in prior to asking.

Thanks, let me clarify, as I am not a programmer, i am more on the design side.

1) My programmer is very good, i am not in any way unhappy with his work.
2) The website is coded in asp.net
3) We have been trying to solve this for quite some time.
4) I have come to realize it seems that not all programmers know how to code taking seo issues into account. ( That is why i have posted my question here, knowing i would get the right answers)

I am not sure (and I know fuckall about asp.net)

But if he's a good programmer, you will have to chart out the SEO theory yourself.

// What pages do you wish to show,
// What you don't,
// Where do you want the title to display,
// Where you don't etc.

And hand it over to him and he can implement your instructions in his code.

There is nothing a few conditional statements won't rectify here.

The question you have to solve is:
Why are duplicate pages shown?

Start with : What is shown twice / three / four times

Try finding a pattern, then he can find where it is coming from.
