Here's a hypothetical...

let's say there was a script that allowed you to spy on
everyone who came to your site (provided they are logged
onto fb)....

You're thinking of click-jacking right?

That's old news, crude and is easily detected.

Won't you notice that you liked a page on your wall? Seriously.. how steal-ty is that?

Back to the beginning..

Would you be interested in a script that can save details about a person's facebook profile, uid, nickname, gender, etc in a databse... without them ever knowing?

Would you be interested?

I'm not saying I have a script that does that... but if I did.. should it be kept secret?

Couple of "theoretical' stuff that this could lead to...

- Save the uids and re-target them on FB ads (without paying for agencies)
- Extended Analytics to see who your real audience is...

... think out aloud

This shit has been around for a while and there are already tons of companies in the space that could beat any pricing you could possibly offer.

I'm not saying I would be interested, but If I were interested, I definitely would be REALLY interested too ;)

mpbiz, what companies?

Here is a huge list of companies in the data space: BlueKai: Partner Program

The problem for you guys is these things only make sense for people in the following 2 situations:

1. Branders that want to impress their boss and show them how they were able to target single moms, who buy product XYZ, like stuff on facebook, etc.

2. Website owner with a site that has massive traffic who wants to collect his visitor data using a DMP so that he can build a better profile of who visits his site, then make the profile available on exchanges in hopes of bringing on brand advertisers that will pay a premium because they know who they are targeting.

In all honesty this stuff is probably worth while in the long run for 1% of the people advertising or creating content online.

Is the web api much different from the mobile? Cause when I use facebook api+oath2.0 on android I can't get shit unless they give permissions when they authenticate and then you get an access token to make the requests for the info you speak of.....
