Hiding your sites

Quick question:

As you probably know there are websites out there that list all domains that are on a specific IP, what do you guys do to stop competitors from stealing all your niches?

The only possibility I see, is instead of using a dedicated server, go to a shared server (multiple) and spread your sites. Is there any other way?
 


You can also buy multiple IPs, typically they cost anywhere from $1-$3 a month. If you're on a reseller account it's easy "One of the sites I am hosting has an owner that want a unique IP" or "one of the sites I host requires a unique IP for SSL".

Other than that, I really wouldn't worry about it. Multiple sites on a single IP screams "shared server" to most people anyway. If they steal your niche, they still your niche.
 
or get on Ips that have THOUSANDS of sites on them... Good luck finding your sites in the mix.
