High Volume Words Returning Low Impressions

I'm running a few offers and I have some of the most general keywords. I'm just trying to gather some data and figure out which way to take these different niches, but I'm getting very low impressions.

Details:

Network: Yahoo
Average bid: $1.00
Impressions (24 hours): 8
Estimated position: 1-3

I realize that might be too little time to tell, but when looking at these keywords in any search tool they show up for hundreds of thousands of searches.

Am I just impatient or is something else wrong?

give it some time, but don't forget that yahoo can be fucked sometimes, and they will let your keyword trigger ads then they will manually review it.

yahoo disapprove so many keywords....
 
I realize that. I don't understand how it all works but I'll give it some time and see what happens. I'll keep you posted, thanks harry :)
 
I've noticed YSM's estimated positions have been off lately ... How many other ads are you competing with? It seems that there's obviously just some sort of lag with their back-end calculations.
 
Even higher? Their little calculator BS thingy said I'm 1.00 position (on the big graph thingy)

That should work. I'm telling ya -- add 50% to what they say is #1 and you'll be golden. YSM's calculations are always fucked.

let us know how many keywords they disapprove. Yahoo can be bitches, I wish they would let me spend more money with them...
 
ysm updates very slowly. i had a click come in on prosper at 9am and yahoo showed it at 3pm.
