People hate on the "guru's" but the top 10 or so all make 8+ figures a year profit and growing because their consumer (sheep) base eat up everything they put out.

And their bottom line keeps growing year after year (regardless of re-bills dying, Google slapping, etc).

You can go laugh when you have 8 figures chillin' at JP Morgan Chase and a few Ferrari's, a few Rolls, and a few Lambos parked in the driveway.

P.S - I was talking to one of the "guru's" the other days, some of them aren't fucking idiots, and he was like, "well I have to go pick up two Ferrari's". One for himself, to keep his Rolls and Lambo company, and one to give to his number one JV partner for a launch he did.
 
Exactly. You should be studying his sales funnel process instead of hating. And actually if you read any of his pdf's on mobile marketing - aside from the hype - the info is provocative. You have to learn how to read between the lines. If you see what Google just did at the Mobile conference in Spain combined with some of the stats he talks about regarding mobile open %'s vs. email percentages you could probably use it to make some money.....

I agree. The man is probably pretty clever and makes a good deal of dough with this stuff. But being able to learn from the gurus doesn't mean you can't still call them out on their bullshit. But that's my opinion anyway.

So basically, yeah his product won't help, but do what he's doing? So have a bunch of retards pretending to know the "secret" and all peddling each other's garbage to each other? That's the winning strategy?

The whole "yeah, but he makes money" argument only goes so far. At some point, you'd think some of these people would realize they make money by providing nothing of value. I don't know if this guy is one of them, but I've seen way too many in the IM community who do nothing but profit off of exploiting others stupidity by blatantly lying and not fulfilling their promises.
