Home Page split testing question

If i wanna split test an entire homepage to see which look and feel converts better, but both pages wll have identical copy, what's the best way to do this? Also, i'm using prosper202.

?2, will this affect my QS at all? since i assume it's a php thing that alternates the pages. Can google bots scan this as if it were a regular site?

Go check out the landing page rotator script for Tracking202 that Wes uploaded there in the Scripts section. The G bots will only scan the currently loaded landing page as pulled by the script. Just make sure each separate LP meets the normal criteria for good QS.

Don't worry about identical copy between them. Google themselves even encourages testing near identical landing pages through their own Website Optimizer.

That leads me to another thought/question. Let's say i had 20 landing pages rotation, all the exact same except for one section of text Since google would get a different page each time it scans, would G think that my page is being frequently updated and improve my QS based on that? Perhaps even prevent getting slapped?
