whys is a black and white banner perfect for PPC? what are u talking about?
I can only assume he was referring to the fact that you won't be wasting money paying for impressions that don't result i clicks, as you would with other pay-per-impression type banner ads. In that sense, by using ppc, a dull, unattractive, banner would not as quickly equate to throwing money out the window as it would under other circumstances.
Still, I don't know about that guy, but when i spend money on advertising I want to make money, and therefore his theory about ppc doesn't make much sense to me.
Maybe he meant something else, but to me, the banner is a fail.
more like 6 minutes... hostgaytor lost my respect (of which it didn't have too much to begin with)...
hehe they told me 7 minutes, but whatever.
I'm not upset with them, really. I mean come on, a company using a marketing tactic on marketers OH ONES!!
Companies have been exploiting big sales gimmicks on black Friday since forever. $199 brand new laptops and $100 flatscreens... come on! There's really nothing different here, they're just trying to get people "in the store" just like any other business.
I can't knock their hustle.
