After doing a forums search, I was a bit surprised this show hasn't gotten more love from Wickedfire.

I was a bit ambivalent initially, but fuck if it's not turned out to be pretty god damned good.

I have no idea how the world of consulting for billion dollar companies works, but I always feel like I get to peak behind the curtain with each episode. They do a good job making you feel like you've been given access or insider secretes to a lifestyle I won't likely lead. It's similar to Entourage or, I don't know, Shark Tank in that way. If you have any interest in business or finance or money I think you could appreciate House Of Lies.

Also, there are lesbians.

been watching... Honestly based on the previews i didn't really have high expectations for the show but so far it's turned out to be pretty damn good.

Yea, I've had the same experience. I didn't expect much from it. I just wanted something to fill the space left since the couple other shows I watch are between seasons. I wasn't even all that sure about it after the first couple episodes. But it sure has taken off. I look forward to new episodes now.
 
Another good show like this is a uk reality show that took regular folks and taught them day trading then set them up with their own firm and a million dollars leaving them to their own vices. It isn't much of a spoiler to say it was an entertaining epic fail but cool to say the least. I'm mobile ATM. I'll post a link later.
