How do I add a rss reader to a site template that is not a blog?

I have web site templates that are not blogs I would like to add a section were I can add rss feeds to add content like a blog has. Is this doable without much editing? Can someone direct me to a link or give some details to do this?

This is probably the least elegant way to do it, but it works.

Simplest way with php to allow for your own kind of output : SimplePie: Super-fast, easy-to-use, RSS and Atom feed parsing in PHP.

Pretty much just dump the files into the root of your website and with about 3 lines of code you can parse a rss or atom feed the way you want to .

Personally I hate those javascript parsers and you're reliant on the js host site (even with their 'php' method which is just a straight include, limiting the customizability), they never seem to seamlessly integrate with the site.
