How do you keep your anonymity when doing business online?

I have two projects going on. I want to use pseudonyms for both. For example, Dita Von Teese uses that pen name for her stage act and her business ventures. I want to do something along the same lines.

I have domains registered for these ventures and I already know to disable the Whois portion. I have several trademarks but I didn't realize until after I filed and got approved that it was so easy to search and find my personal information, so I am in the process of changing the contact info to my business name at the USPTO. However, if someone looks the business name up in the business filings for my state(LLC), they will see my name, is there a way around this? Are there other things that I should be doing to add additional layers of privacy? I just want to keep my personal life separate from my professional life.

I think you figured out the most important part - always use your business info rather than personal info. This is also important for web hosting and domain registrars, even with whois protection. One threatening letter and some of those places will turn over your "private" info to someone who requests it.

What to watch out for now is all the scraper sites who have already gathered your personal info via the USTPO site.
