How do you organize your masked links?

Hey all...

This is a total noob question...

But I am in search of the best way to organize my link.php so that I can keep track of all of my masked links, what page they are on, which actual element on the page that they are...

remarks on the page itself? spreadsheet?

Just wondering how you guys do it... so I dont have to re-invent the wheel for myself.

I use masked links in Wordpress blogs, each post will be assigned a number, and all links from that post will use the same number. But I only work with one affiliate link per post, so it's easy for me - if you were running 5+ masked links per post all with different destinations it could quickly become unmanageable... I've been wanting to put together a Wordpress plugin to manage masked links but just haven't had the time...
 
Yeah, def store them all in a db. Then if you want to build on it and add tracking, link admin etc it's no worries. And also it's much easier to manage a lot of links from one central location than pissing around editing files
