One thing I've noticed about AM and online monies making is that once something gets set up, it tends to keep going for a while. My Facebook ads just keep rolling at a positive ROI. It took a little testing to see what worked, but once it was set up, I started watching money come in and it's kept on coming in. Same with my blog. It took some effort to get some posts in and get some search engine traffic, but I haven't posted in over a month and another AdCents check is on the way (that's on top of other ads I've sold).

So here's an article on a non-AM way one person set up a small cash stream. I liked it, so I thought I'd share it. Take a few of these and scale a bit and one is making the rent every month online:

Enjoy.

So you are stating that you are making 2000 a year off of the past work you have done? Why didn't you keep doing that work and keep it growing so that you could make more than 2000 a year?

No offense but after 250 posts you ought to have some better reason to start a thread.

i enjoyed the blog post. it served as a good reminder to get some illustrations up on istockphoto and fotolia. i had a few things up but wasn't taking it seriously as a revenue source. just did up some 50s style jazzy vector drawings of musical instruments.

this is so true.

I build an adult blog in 06, posted every couple days. Will end up banking about 6k from it this year with maybe 1-2 hours of work a month this year.

Granted I spent a butt load of time at the start. Now I'm building an army on blogs doing the same thing.
