been out of adult for almost 3 years now, and I now notice how negative and depressing GFY (the biggest adult forum) is now.

It is still somewhat a good forum, but mainly social deviants

plenty of deviants everywhere, but it was more acceptable in adult.

i used to be on GFY under a different nick. dont do adult at all anymore and so stopped going there. i remember when that guy JuicyLinks first started posting like crazy, that was the moment GFY went down the shitter IMO. tons of attention whores.

raises hand** was under a diff nick. was also on other boards like greenguy, MP, videoboards, etc.. havent been in it for about 8 years now

I was, mainly as a designer, shit I racked up nearly 8k posts there. Worked as a designer for adult players club for nearly a year.

I used to be into adult, but I was never on GFY. Now my adult interaction is solely as a consumer. I still have dreams about being the next kink.com though; Peter Acworth is my hero.

Yep, talk about building a business out of what you're passionate about. I'm not sure whether it's just his PR, but he seems very different from most of the porn producers out there. He doesn't come across as sleazy or misogynistic, which most of them do.

Yeah, he started as a Columbia PhD student before started Hogtied, and still makes appearances in some kink videos. Incidentally, the founder of Insex/Infernal Restraints also started out in academia (taught at Carnegie Mellon I believe). Obviously the latter isn't quite on the level of the kink traffic-wise.
