How many tabs do you have open on a regular working day?

I've got 23 right now... my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy. Am I? I noticed I always have between 15-25 tabs open, never less. Using Chrome BTW. Doing this on FF would quickly turn into a nightmare.
 


You know what would be nice would be if they could build in a drop down menu in each tab to organize the tabs a bit.. BTW I have about 15 in chrome and 20 open in FF plus another dozen in my VPS I guess I may be a little ADD

motherofgod 23?!?!!? Your girlfriend might be right on that one. Do you have multiple chrome windows open your 23 tabs or just all on one chrome window
 
Yeah, I'm the same.. Can't keep it down below 20 :D
When I open Chrome, I see something interesting, then I remember something I wanted to check, a few work tabs and in 3 minutes I catch myself joggling through 25 tabs. :D
Sometimes I get really carried away, and cause it to go really slow, and then I force quit.. And then the adventure starts again :)

No bullshit. I thought I was bad with 15-20 tabs per open browser, and 3-4 concurrent. The kid shits on me for multitasking.

I might not beat him, but we are on par with each other then.

7-8 browsers open with 35~ tabs open, mostly FF too
 
Rarely gets above 6 in each of 3-4 instances.

I pretty much group the tabs in each browser instance by type (forums/networks/code/junk/zzz) so when im done with one section I can close the whole group at once.
 
I like to keep the Admin panels of my WordPress sites all open, in case I need to test a plugin or add a post.

I also keep my email accounts always open, 2-3 forums, 1 or 2 news sites, HootSuite (for social media) and of course DA GOOGLEZ.
 
between 5 and 35+ depending on what I'm doing.

Generally only about 3 instances max tho.
 
13 right now in one instance, usually try and keep it down to about 5 on one instance to focus.

This really is a gay webmaster forum, only women can multitask boys!

When was the last time you tried it in FF? I have about the same amount of tabs open all the time in FF, it picked itself up around version 4-5. No more problems whatsoever. It's actually faster than Chrome, especially FF's JS engine is MUCH faster than chrome now. Plus of course the good old Firefox goodness.
