Hi.

Currently I am working on a niche website and I wonder what colours are good to use if I want to make the visit focus more on the ad than my design?

Currently my website has a darkblue header reaching 100% width. The content area is white and the text is black, so is the titles of each paragraph. I have a light grey column on the right side and the advertisement is wrapped into the text and is floating on the left side of the content.

I can re-design pretty much the page how I want. And please, only post if you actually know what you are talking about.

Thanks!

inb4 Google banhammer.

Just test different color combo over a period of time and I'd focus on quality of websites instead.

It was not meant as a question where you were supposed to tell me what color brings the most cash, absolutely not. I have very good content and I update it regularly. Let me rephrase what my question was incase I did not formulate it in a good way. I simply wondered how to blend in AdSense with the rest of my theme without destroying everything. When I said I wanted my visitors focusing on my AdSense I meant not in a way where I trick the visitor. I just want it to not look retarded - as it does now.

That is as far I know not against the rules because it says clearly in the Terms of Service we are not allowed to trick people into clicking our AdSense, though that could be discussed because blending your AdSense into your theme could be understood as tricking people clicking your AdSense because they think it's a part of your page. Though Google wants you to blend it with the rest.

^despite the followup explanation you still are not identifying any actionable goals you are attempting to achieve. Be more concise.

No one thing will work across every site. The only way you will arrive at a good ad setup is by testing different options yourself.

only post if you actually know what you are talking about.

shit disregard my post
