How to detect faked domains?

I'm using domcop.com to find expired domains to buy for my PBN. However, I'm seeing a domain for £8 which has 38 domain authority and thousands of backlinks.

It doesn't seem right. What can I use to verify its legitimacy?

OSE to check if DA shows redirect, archive.org to check if domain in some point was redirected, ahrefs to check whether those backlinks are natural or spam.

To add to what golan said, if you have a majestic subscription, have a look at the domain's anchor cloud. If the anchor cloud indicates a heavily SEO'd site, it's best to skip it.
