How to Do This?

Here's what I'm trying to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Word Press powered site where users can land on the home page, conduct a "search" and get results. Simple enough.

Here is what I want to do. When people click on the search box to conduct a search I want a lightbox to pop-up that prompts them for their name and email (I have an Aweber account I'll be using for the actual list/web form).

Any recommendations on how I can do this/go about this?

can you code? if you can, you need to attach the lightbox function to the submit action of the form with something like jquery. It's pretty easy with a few lines of JS, I'm sure someone can do it here for you.

Yeah I can code well enough to do something like this--if I knew what to do.

use jquery to pop up a form and black out the background

or you can send me $99 and i can do it for you, with verification to make sure that fields are filled out and email field has email address in it, then redirect based on success/failer
