How to Find Script Causing IE to "run slowly" and giving error box

Hi all,

Forgive the potentially noob question, but I've been googling and can't find the answer to this (maybe I'm using the wrong terminology or something). One of my sites causes the "A script on this page is causing ie to run slowly: stop running or continue running" error box. This only happens in Internet Explorer--no errors in other browsers.

Is there anyway to figure out which script is the culprit? I've been going over the source code and I can't find anything malicious, so I think it's a legitimate script...I just don't know how to figure out exactly which one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Comment all of them out and then run each of them separately.

I'm on WordPress, so I guess the best course of action would then be:
1. Deactivate every plug-in one by one
2. After that (if necessary), go through the template files and comment out any scripts and test them.

Is that about right, or did I miss anything WordPress related? Thanks for the help.

Yes, try disabling the plugins and also the theme. When you figured it out where the error is decide if you can find something else or try to fix it.
