Hi everyone,

Can anyone here give me a tip on how to gain more affiliates in Clickbank? I am a newbie as a seller and aware of the metrics used by CB when introducing a product though I am not really aware on how they score products and give rankings about it. I know this is pretty basic but any useful reply would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Thomas,

The thing is to stand out of the crowd in order to attract more affiliates.
See what your competitors offer and make a better offer (if they have a $50 minimum payout you should offer a $25 minimum one, if they make payments every 30 days you should make payments every 10 days...do you understand where I`m getting at?)

Also, I don`t know if you have read it, but here is an article from Clickbank which explains exactly how to attract more affiliates:

It also might be helpful if you gave us a little more insight into what you are selling?

I'm into an outdoor and wilderness ebook which I'm planning to sell on Clickbank. From there I created funnels that will eventually point to a membership site for upsell. It is a low competition but high search niche with a 50% commission for affiliates.

As I said, try to make your offer stand out from the crowd and in time your affiliates will come.
Another idea would be to create your own affiliate program and directly search for people who would want to sell your product.

I already signed up as a merchant in Clickbank and just fine-tuning some settings and services on the site and the product which I am going to sell in CB. Just had to find the right people interested in outdoor and survival niches who might want to purchase the product and eventually my site's membership offer.

Have you considered creating your own affiliate program system and be independent of clickbank? I think that this is the future for your business. Cut out the middle man.

Thanks for this good advice. I'll think about this through. Do you recommend any plugins or apps for payment processing and security of payment in the site? I think one of the major things affecting my decision in offering the affiliate program itself is the security of the entire payment process plus the security of the site itself.. Atleast with CB all I need to do is just followup with the entire process and not think about all the legalities, payment involved.

you want to make sure that your sales page is affiliate friendly. Meaning, No Leaks, or blatant lies. Also set up a good affiliate page and make sure you have an opt-in to access the affiliate tools.
