How to market a product at it best?

Iam a programmer basically and have been venturing into IM from last couple of weeks. I find it very interesting to launch your own creations and let people use it and give feedback and then you improve your code to make the product better.

Although I have not done this for my products but I have worked with lot of marketers who got products coded from me.

So now I want to enter into this world of marketing myself and offer my products to the world out there.

I have these questions -

1. What are the best and economical ways I can get word out about my product.

2. Some of my products are from Making Money Niche itself, like Web Automation Products. What are the best ways to market them online?

Iam sure a lot of programmers like me here would be looking for methods to market their products.

I would be glad if you people post some helpful suggestions.

You can try promoting with ClickBank.

Although most people here hate the Warrior Forum, you can milk it by promoting your making money products there.

Be helpful and participate in forums related your products, and put a link to your product(s) in your signature. On WickedFire you need to be a trusted member to put links in your sig, however.

You can try PPC, promoting your product on Google/Yahoo/Adcenter/etc.

Thanks a ton for your suggestions, I am already aware of these methods, PPC seems a good option but sales will pick up slow using PPC.

I would like to know how I can reach thousands of people at once, like some so called IM gurus do in their product launches?
